0 BlackBerry Launches two smartphones Z10 & Q10 Running on BB10 OS

After lengthy delays, Research In Motion Ltd. unveiled its first two phones with the new BlackBerry 10 system. The Q10 will have a physical keyboard, while the Z10 has only a touch-screen keyboard. RIM also announced a company name change to BlackBerry to maintain a single brand.

RIM redesigned the system to embrace the multimedia, apps and touch-screen experience prevalent today. The question is whether there's time for the once-pioneering BlackBerry to catch up to Apple's trend-setting iPhone and devices running Google's Android system.

RIM’s much awaited BB10 OS for new Full Touch BlackBerry devices with rich in Features like - 'work, life balance’, Smart keyboard (enable fast typing with word projector) and Many more.

          BB10 Features :

  The BB10 demoed features like the 'work, life balance’ allows its users switch between a personal and work mode. This means that the work mode of the phone's data can be controlled and wiped if necessary without affecting the personal data.

   RIM also showed off its forthcoming smart keyboard software, which would be used in full touchscreen BB10 devices. Keyboard, "the main twist remains a feature called 'next word projector', which positions suggested words above the next letter that you'd have to type to spell them out".

   BB10 browser is based on Web kit and includes full support for Flash and pinch to zoom.

   Camera feature also included a clock-face-style dial that allows you to rewind or go forward in time from the moment you press the shutter to pick the best facial expression.

   BB10 also has a universal inbox for all types of messages, whether it's an email messages, texts, Tweets, LinkedIn or BBM. The inbox can be accessed at any point by swiping up and over to the right to pull it on screen. He further explained that the inbox view can also be filtered so the user can see one particular set of messages at a time.
