Nokia's Budget Windows 8.1 Lumia device Announced at price of 85 Euros

Nokia has just the company’s latest  Dual SIM budget smartphones Lumia 530.  It has a 4" display with 854 x 480 resolution, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1.

Intex Revealed two Budget Android phones Cloud X4, Cloud Y2 at Rs 4590, Rs 6190

Intex has launched two new phones in the Cloudseries, the Intex Cloud X4 and the Cloud Y2. The Cloud X4 is the successor of the Cloud X3 that was launched last month. Most the specifications are similar to the Cloud X3 including a 3.5-inch display and a 1 GHz dual-core processor, but this has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera instead of the 2MP camera. It  also comes with a 0.3-megapixel(VGA) front-facing camera. The Cloud Y2 packs a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these phones runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and has 3G support.
These smartphones come with range of pre-loaded apps such as Matrabhasha, an innovative app that enables users to use their smartphone in their own mother tongue; Intex Life Box, a mobile lifestyle portal, Intex zone andIntex Play. It comes with Facebook, Skype and Hungama.

Xolo Launched A500S, 4" display, Android 4.2 for INR 6,999

Xolo, the brand name under which Lava releases their smartphones in India has launched its cheapest smartphone in the Xolo line-up. After launching flagship devices, the war has once again intensified in the entry-level segment and we are not surprised at Xolo’s launch.
Xolo A500S is currently the cheapest Xolo phone available in the market today as the predecessor Xolo A500 has been discontinued. Xolo A500S comes with certain enhancements over the previous model and with just a slight hike in price.

The most impressive change is the OS. Xolo A500S comes with Android Jelly Bean version 4.2. That is so far the latest as Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is yet to debut on a smartphone. The display size is a 4-inches TFT screen. Xolo A500S comes with a display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and pixel density of 233 Pixels Per Inch (PPI). The device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and a Mali-400 MP GPU for boosting graphics. The device is based on MediaTek's chipset, MT 6572W.
It includes a 5-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. The rear camera can record videos up to 720p resolution. The Xolo A500S runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also includes 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card. It is a dual SIM device with support for GSM+GSM with dual standby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. Other features include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and AGPS. The Xolo A500S is backed by a 1400mAh battery.
The device will be available in four colour options- Black, Blue, Red & White.
Xolo seems to be targeting the budget Android segment with the A500S. The latest smartphone is believed to be a successor to the Xolo A500 which is now available for Rs. 6,499 at online retailers.
Last month, Xolo launched the Play T1000 smartphone powered by Tegra 3 quad-core processor for Rs. 15,999.
The Xolo Play T1000 features a 4.7-inch HD display. The highlight of the device is its 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor which comes with a 12-core GeForce GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with internal storage of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB. The device sports an 8.0-megapixel rear camera and a 2.0-megapixel front camera. It comes with full HD1080p video recording and playback capabilities. Other major features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support. The phone comes with a 2,000mAh battery.

Android 4.2 Smartphone with Dual Core Processor just for Rs. 3790 launched by intex

Intex Technologies has launched the Cloud X3, the company’s latest entry-level Android smartphone. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, dual SIM support and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Intex has partnered with MediaTek for the launch and the smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 chip that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth. Intex is the first smartphone maker in India to introduce a smartphone with this chip.
The MediaTek MT6572 chip has a Cortex A7 CPU sub-system with speeds up to 1.3GHz based on leading 28nm process technology that makes the device power efficient. The phone comes with dual SIM support with dual standby, has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel rear camera. The phone has glossy finish and curved design.

6 inch Phablet for just Rs. 11999 Launched by Swipe partnered with MTV


Swipe Telecom and MTV have partnered again to launch an upgraded version of their previously released MTV Volt smartphone. The upgraded version has been dubbed as MTV Volt 1000 and is now available for INR 11,999. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This has 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB in its predecessor and the battery has gone down to 2850 mAh.

S Mobility has launched the Mi-535 Stellar Pinnacle Pro, successor of the Mi-530 Stellar Pinnacle that was launched earlier this year. It was listed on online retailer Saholic earlier this week. It has a 5.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) IPS LCD display similar to the Mi-530, but this is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Zen Mobile has launched the Zen Ultrafone 701 HD, the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone in India. Pre-bookings for the phone started earlier this month.  It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Karbonn Titanium S5 Specs and Price

A couple of months have passed since the launch of the Karbonn Titanium S1 , with its nice mid range offering. It had a 4.5 inch qHD screen, but Karbonn has felt the need for a bigger screen we guess, and now it has launched the Karbonn Titanium S5 with a bigger 5 inch screen. With it almost mimicking the specs of the Titanium S1 except for the 8 megapixel camera, the 2MP front camera and the battery, it is clear that Karbonn is really catering to demands. Intex Aqua Marvel+ available on official website at Rs. 3990

Intex Aqua Marvel+, successor of the Aqua Marvel has surfaced on the official Intex website. The Intex Aqua Marvel+ has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbead), similar to its predecessor, but the Marvel+ has a 5-megapixels camera and the battery capacity is down to 1400 mAh from 1450 mAh. All the other features are similar.

UMI X2 Launches in India, having 1080p display with Android Jelly Bean & 32Gb Storage for Rs.14,000

UMI Launches X2 smartphone in India for Rs 14,000. The device is notable because it boasts of a number of features that we associate with smartphones that cost upwards of Rs 40,000. It features a 5-inch IPS, Gorilla Glass 2 Display with a full-HD 1080p resolution a first for a device south of Rs 20,000 in India. Features wise, it also gives the Micromax Canvas HD shivers as it is priced very similarly, but on paper it has a distinct hardware advantage over it.
 The UMI X2 sports a 5-inch full HD IPS display with an impressive pixel density of 441PPI, whichis similar to the HTC Butterfly and the Sony XperiaZ. It is powered by the MediaTek MTK6589 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz that we have already seen in the Micromax Canvas HD but this time around it is supplemented by 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB on the Canvas HD.
Moreover, the device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-thebox and the company promises an update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean by April 2013. The smartphone comes with 32GB of internal storage along with a micro-SD card slot, to further expandthe storage by up to 32GB. The UMI X2 sports dual-SIM card slots and houses a 13 megapixel camera with flash at the back, along with a 3.0 megapixel front-facing camera. Phew! Seems toogood to be true, doesn’t it?
 The smartphone gets all the standard connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and also packs-in a 2,500mAh battery. The company says that the smartphone would be released between March 15-20 for Rs. 14,000

Samsung launches two low cost Galaxy Young and Fame smartphones


The Galaxy Young features 3.27 inch display and Fame comes with 3.5 inch display. Both-get 1GHz processor and Motion UI from Galaxy SIII.
 Samsung has announced two new Android phones under its Galaxy series -Samsung Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame. Both the smartphones are powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and 1 GHz processor.
 Samsung Galaxy Young will feature a 3.27 inch full touch H VGA resolution screen and 3 megapixel camera at the back.
 On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Fame gets a 3.5 inch display with HVGA resolution (480×320 pixels), it also gets a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC .
 The Galaxy Young will come in white, deep blue, wine red and metallic silver colour and will be affordable phone. The Galaxy Fame will be available in pearl white and metallic blue colours.
 Both the phones get 4G B of internal storage, 1,300mAh battery and access to Game Hub Lite, which allows easy access to games for these devices. Samsung's device management software, S Cloud, will also be offered as safe andsimple syncing option for back-up and storage option information such as contacts, bookmarks, and SMS .
 Samsung has also put Motion User interface, first seen on Samsung Galaxy SIII, in these two phone.The User interface allows one to simply shake the devices to refresh and update widgets and other content, or to just turn over the device to mute the ringer.
 Both the phones with be available in both single SIM and double SIM versions, the Dual SIM version will feature Hybrid Dual SIM function which lets you use 3G data on one SIM while receiving a call on the other SIM.
 While price has not been announced the phones are likely to be priced below Rs 10,000 in India. Samsung has not announced the launch date for these phones. The phones might replace the aging Galaxy Y range for the Samsung.

Android Smartphone with 4.5" HD Display available under Rs.10k

UMI Mobile enter India with HD display phone for Rs 9,999
The phone comes with 4.5 inch HD display, 1 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 MP camera.
 UMI Mobile, a Chinese handset brand, has now entered the Indian mobile phone market with an HD display bearing Android smartphone.
 Named as UMI X1, the phone comes with 4.5 inch HD display (1280x720p), MediaTek MTK6577 chipset based 1 GHz dual core processor coupled, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB of ROM. The Android 4.0 based handset also comes with 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front camera. There is also a dual LED flash light at the back.
 A 1750 mAH battery powers the phone and like most budget Android, it too comes with Dual SIM connectivity. UMI X1 has also 3G , WiFi , Bluetooth and GPS connectivity and set of sensors.
The phone has got positive reviews in China. In India, it is priced at Rs 9,999, thus it looks attractive. Similar phones from Indian brands are also available in slightly higher price range, however all of them come with qHD display.
 Recently many Chinese brands are entering Indian mobile market, GFive was one of the first such brand. Recently, Zopo has also entered the market.
