Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240, successor of the Canvas Doodle A111 that was spotted online yesterday, is now available in India from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has 12-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby similar to other Micromax smartphones. It also comes with a stylus and packs a 2600 mAh battery.

It comes with Video Pinning,  Smart Pause, Blow Air or Shake to Unlock similar to the Cavas 4.  It also comes pre-loaded with unique M! Doodle app and has a stylus.

My Comment - Phone seems to be over priced . At nearly 20k this phone may struggle to make impact at this price point. Micromax is well known for their budget devices , if they are launching mobile at this price they have to think about more and innovative features to be introduced in that mobile.

0 Sony Xperia Z Ultra with 6.44-inch Full HD display, 2.2 GHz quad-core processor announced

For good or ill, the oversized smartphone trend shows no signs of abating. In fact, Sony's just taken it to the next level with the Xperia ZUltra — a new smartphone with a simply monstrous 6.4-inch, 1080p screen. Despite the huge panel and respectable 3,000mAh battery (which it surely needs to power that massive screen), the phone is also extremely thin at only 6.5mm and weighs 212 grams. That's thinner than the iPhone 5, but also twice as heavy — we'll have to see how these dimensions feel when you're holding Sony's supersized phone. Other noteworthy features include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon  800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage plus a microSD slot, Android 4.2, and an 8-megapixel camera.

Swipe Telecom and MTV have partnered again to launch an upgraded version of their previously released MTV Volt smartphone. The upgraded version has been dubbed as MTV Volt 1000 and is now available for INR 11,999. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This has 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB in its predecessor and the battery has gone down to 2850 mAh.

1 Karbonn Titanium S5 Specs and Price

A couple of months have passed since the launch of the Karbonn Titanium S1 , with its nice mid range offering. It had a 4.5 inch qHD screen, but Karbonn has felt the need for a bigger screen we guess, and now it has launched the Karbonn Titanium S5 with a bigger 5 inch screen.
