Micromax Canvas 4 Pre Booking Date & Price Prediction

The rage created by the Canvas HD aka Canvas 3 is yet to die, and Micromax is ready with its next flagship. The company will soon be bringing the Canvas 4 to the market.

The company has just teased the upcoming phone in a facebook post saying “Can life be endless”. Pre-booking of this phone will begin on 28th of June 2013.

This phone is expected to sport a thin profile withat least 5-inch display HD screen. Unlike the A116 Canvas HD, the Canvas 4 will be heavier on the upper side, and slightly tapering thinner end towards the lower side. It appears this phone willhave a metallic rim. We can expect a 13 megapixel camera and quad-core processor with this phone. This will be a budget phone in line with Micromax's aim of making good phones available at affordable price points. We don't expect this to cross the Rs. 15000 margin and go to a higher price point.

The company earlier denied making any Canvas Pro HD, and might simply call it Canvas 4.

Micromax has done it again. It has just announceda phone, just before the premium products are expected to hit the market. On June 20 Samsung is going to organize a launch event. This event is rumoured to witness the launch of some Galaxy S4 variants, ruggedized version of Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Zoom.

Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL Now Available for Purchase in India

Sony finally released the Xperia Z and theXperia ZL at a press event held today. The Indian market was a good cash source for the company until now, but mostly with the entry-level and mid-range handsets. Sony is probably hoping to have the same success with its flagships, as well. And lets face it, the Sony Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL are premium devices that would meet the needs of any user, if he has the money for them. Curiously, the Japanese company has launched both smartphones at the same time in India, while on other markets only one of them has arrived, depending on the region.
The Xperia Z and Xperia ZL are quite similar when it comes to technical specs. Both phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core1.5 GHz CPU, they include 2 GB RAM, a 5-inch full HD display, 16 GB of on-board storage space which can be expanded via microSD card, a 13 megapixel rear-facing snapper and a 2 megapixel camera in the front. Of course, there are a few difference between them, with the Xperia Z boasting a 2,330 mAh battery, while the Xperia Z comes with a 2,370 one. Also, the Sony Xperia ZL has a more compact appearance and a dedicated camera button. On the other hand, the Sony Xperia Z features a nice tempered-glass finish which provides a big advantage meaning that is dust and water proof.
There is a difference between the two smartphones whet it comes to pricing, as well. While the Xperia Z will be available for Rs 38,990 (~$750), the Xperia ZL will be cheaper at Rs 35,990 (~$692). The company also stated that the people who will purchase the Xperia Z will receive 8 GB free data from Vodafone, the offer being available for two months . The plan also comes with 6-month free access to the Sony Jive video and music streaming apps. As for the price tags, there are not so bad considering that the HTC One will surely be sold for more money, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4 which will be launched soon.
Both Xperia Z and Xperia ZL are available for pre-order at online retailer Flipkart for Rs. Rs 38,990 and Rs 35,990, respectively, and as of March 12 the devices will hit the Sony retail shops.
But there is more good news for the people in India, as Sony announced that its latest tablet, the Xperia Tablet Z, will be released in two months. Sadly, the company hasn’t offered anymore details about the tablet, such as the exact date when it will be launched or how much it will cost.
Now, the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL are both great smartphones. Which one to choose? It’s all up to your preferences and how much money are you willing to spend.
