Swipe Telecom and MTV have partnered again
to launch an upgraded version of their previously released MTV Volt smartphone.
The upgraded version has been dubbed as MTV Volt 1000 and is now available for INR 11,999. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This has 1GB of RAM instead of 512MB in its predecessor and the battery has gone down to 2850 mAh.
