LG unveils 'G2 Mini' having 4.7-inch qHD display with Android 4.4

LG has finally made the G2 Mini official ahead of Mobile World Congress 2014. Its screen ekes out a fairly meager 960x540 pixels over those 4.7 inches, for a density of 234 pixels per inch. That's nowhere near the retina quality of the best screens on the market.
Where the G2 packs a mighty 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, its little bro makes do with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400. It has half the amount of memory too, with 1GB of RAM compared to the G2's 2GB.

LG brings all the G2 features such as Guest Mode, Knock ON, Quick Memo and lots more features to the G2 Mini. The LG L90, the company’s upcoming smartphone in the L Series III has similar specifications, but has a different design.
LG G2 Mini specifications
  • 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 8MP rear camera with LED flash
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera
  • 1GB RAM, 8GB Internal memory, expandable memory  with microSD
  • Dimensions: 129.6 x 66 x 9.8mm; Weight: 121 grams
  • 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS
  • 2440 mAh battery
The LG G2 Mini comes in White, Black, Red and Gold colors. No word on pricing yet. It would showcase the G2 Mini at the MWC in Barcelona next week.
